Andrea’s love for fashion started early. Growing up with a mother who worked as a costume designer and seamstress, she was surrounded by creativity, textiles, and design from an early age. After earning a double major in fashion merchandising and finance from Florida State University, Andrea built a career in retail management while traveling with her husband’s Navy assignments. When the couple returned to the Gulf Coast in 2017, Andrea knew it was time to turn her long-standing dream into something truly special. And with that, The Threaded Cork was born.
One of the boutique’s standout features is its impressive collection of Polish stoneware, sourced directly from Poland. Andrea hand-picks each piece with intention, focusing on items that bring beauty and purpose into the home.
“I love finding pieces that are functional, things you can actually use, not just have sitting around the house,” Andrea says of her stoneware selection.
The stoneware is dishwasher safe, extremely durable, and ideal for daily use, making it a perfect holiday gift or a personal treat. For visitors exploring the Gulf Coast, Andrea makes shopping even easier.
“If you’re visiting from out of town, we can ship your pieces straight to your home,” she adds, making the boutique a convenient stop for travelers.
