“It’s definitely a modern speakeasy feel, so you have the vibe of the couches, the cool wallpaper, the ambience of the lighting.” Says Owner and Operator Ben Kaufman. “There’s very little to distract you as far as the outside world goes.”
Behind the bar, things get serious. Their mixologists don’t just make drinks- they compose them. Whether it’s a smoky blood orange old-fashioned, or a Soft Landing with drops of lavender bitters, every cocktail is artfully built and flawlessly executed. A personal favorite was The Hell Fire- a spicy yet delicious cocktail served with a bubble to create a delicious aromatic experience. Pair it with crispy pork belly with julienne jalapenos and baby arugula with a sweet balsamic, or perhaps their beautifully crafted charcuterie board featuring smoked gouda, whipped feta, locally sourced sausage, and divinely sweet bruleed strawberry slices- and suddenly you’re not just out for drinks. You’re somewhere worth remembering.
