They have beautiful entrée choices like Fresh Seafood Platters, Grilled Salmon, or Shrimp and Grits, to Ribeye Steaks and Fried Pork Chops, to Fettuccine Alfredo. But two of my favorites were absolutely the Chicken Parmigiana and the Country Fried Steak. For the lovers of Italian cuisine, the Chicken Parmigiana is absolutely fantastic. The hand-breaded chicken tenders made with Italian Herbs and Breadcrumbs were crispy and perfect. And with the Red Gravy, Mozzarella Cheese, Fresh Pasta, garnished hot peppers and garlic bread, this one is Molto Bene (that’s “Very Good” in Italian). But it’s hard to tell which one I loved more. The County Fried Steak was so good, and the perfect comfort food. The delicious, cubed Angus Steak with Country Gravy, Seasonal Vegetables, and Mashed Potatoes is an easy win for any appetite!
Your sweet tooth acting up again? You need a slice of cheesecake with Berry Coulis, or the best Carrot Cake you have ever tasted. I am telling you, that Carrot Cake is amazing, and they serve you a monster sized slice with Cream Cheese Frosting that will satisfy your cravings. But the biggest surprise came when Chef Tremayne brought out the finest finish to any meal, Delicious Beignets! These hot and delicious New Orleans-Style Fried dough treats covered in Powdered Sugar are a southern must-have and should be on your To-Do List next time you visit the amazing Under the Oak Café at the beautiful Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort. There is so much to do, with so many choices that there is something for everybody and for all discerning tastes. With live music on the weekends in range of the café, you can sit and enjoy a nice meal while being serenaded from afar by some of the Coast’s finest musicians. Thank-you to the Chef and all the fine staff for creating such a wonderful atmosphere and amazing menu. The Scarlet Pearl will always bring you the best of the best.
