Big Deals at Big Play

“At Big Play, we tend not to have happy hours; we do happy days.” Says Wooldridge. “You get off work at 5’o’clock; what good is a 3-5 happy hour for you? So all of our specials we run all day, different ones on each day. Mondays we’ve always done 32 oz personal pitchers of margaritas and Long Island iced teas; those are usually 12 bucks, or 7 on Monday. We’re also rolling out a few new menu items. One of those is a 12 oz grilled bone in pork chop served with rice and a seasonal vegetable. Normally that’s 18 bucks, but we sell it for 10 on Mondays.”

Let’s face it, Mondays can be tough for families with kids, and when parents need a place to relax and grab a meal, a beer, and catch a game, they can feel safe at Big Play doing just that while their kids have a fun time at the arcade. On Tuesdays, you can send the kids over to the bowling lanes for $2 bowling while you enjoy a deal on a $2 domestic beer and keep an eye on the game.

“I think service comes first with everything.” Says Wooldridge. “I think you look at casinos and there’s smoke, it’s not necessarily family friendly. You have to park in a parking garage and walk in. Here, it’s something easy to get in and out of. We have a very friendly staff, we’ve got the Sunday ticket, and about 40 TVs in there, but it all comes down to our service and hospitality. You can walk out of here for six bucks with a burger and a beer on Thursday. Big fun, big value.”

Their daily deals also include half price games and cocktails on Wednesdays. On Sundays, kids get a free meal with each adult entree. For families looking to enjoy their football, have a good time, and make sure their children are safe and entertained, there’s no better spot than Big Play. But if you’re still on the fence Sales Manager Thorne has a simple message.

            “Come inside, it’s fun inside!”
