Brew Paddle – Downtown Biloxi’s Hidden Gem of Flavor & Personality

     Cheli and Rachel really had to convince me to try the Omelet, and yes indeed, this was by far the best egg adventure I’ve conceded to!  (It’s a texture thing, I only eat scrambled eggs, until they flipped me, lol!)  The French rolled omelet is extremely thin cooked expertly over low heat, slowly, then rolled, like a crepe.  We had sausage, mushroom and Boursin cheese, dressed with chives.  Oh my, I am converted, and can’t wait to do that thang again!  It reminded me so much of pasta as I ate it, I do believe we have a new low carb substitute, no matter, it was outstanding!  They do offer a Breakfast Plate – eggs your way, grits, bacon, ham or sausage and a big ole flaky biscuit.  The Breakfast Sandwich – egg, bacon, ham or sausage with cheddar on a biscuit or sourdough bread.  Pancakes – with lemon zest, vanilla, sweet whipped ricotta, fresh berries and maple syrup.  We also smashed the Grits and Grillards – creamy grits topped with a braised short rib and sweet peppers.  This item is generally a special of the day, its popularity is bringing it menu status!  Yes, marinated, braised and slow cooked till it falls off the bone!  They also offer a Biscuit Benedict – with roasted tomato, black forest ham, poached egg and hollandaise.  Corned Beef Hash – peppers, onions, hollandaise, crispy potatoes and a sunny side up egg.  Croque Madame – house brioche bun, black forest ham, gruyere cheese, sunny egg, mornay sauce.  We very much so loved the BrewPaddle Biggie – house brioche bun, double patty American cheese, house pickles, diced onion, shredded romaine lettuce, burger sauce and fries.  Now, that was a burger to be nominated as the best burger, and the fries were perfection!    

     Everything possible is made in house with daily deliveries from the nearest and freshest farms.  Scott takes pride in his flavor profiles and his talents bring to us some wonderful palate pleasers!  You can pick up fresh breads and pastries, or call- in advance for specialty items.  What a great little place for an excellent Parisian style experience!  Close to casino row, downtown Biloxi and convenient to all for any occasion, BrewPaddle is a must try for your itinerary!
