The Julep Room in Ocean Springs was fully packed on the evening of March 7th for a show that was said to be a record breaking night for the intimate late night music cove. It was the official live debut of DOLLHAUS; a band that has quickly shown themselves to be one of the coast’s breakout original acts for 2025.
Based in Biloxi with roots from across the coast, DOLLHAUS came together quickly, and with a purpose.
“I had spent the last two years working cover gigs, working solo and other projects and I have always been a songwriter,” said singer/ guitarist Charlotte Palmer, a seasoned coast musician of several projects. “… And I wanted an outlet where I could actually bring my original music in a full band setting to a lot of these venues that I’ve built long running relationships with and the community that has always been there for me.”
Charlotte sought members who not only shared her tastes in music, but some life experiences as well.
