There’s this little treasure in downtown Ocean Springs that not only kills it with live bands and an awesome bar in a courtyard atmosphere, they also jam on some awesome Mediterranean eats as well as brick oven pizzas. We were here on an extra hot and humid afternoon and chose to dine inside. Greeted by Alexandria the Manager and then Chloe our waitress, who took our order with no problems, we adjourned outside for a minute where we met the bartender, Alyssa. To our surprise the climate was perfect outside with the power fans blowing in every direction on the patio! What a fun place with live music every week Tuesday through Sunday. Winner of the Covey Award for ——————-, I’ve dropped in many times, lured-in by the great music! I have also stayed late in to the night enjoying the party!
We began with a few appetizers and a house cocktail named Blueberry Lemonade. The Cheese Rolls are a blend of cream cheese, mozzarella, feta and pepper jack wrapped in a very light spring roll wrapper, fried, and served with house made pepper jelly. This was the greatest version of fried cheese with a twist and a dipping sauce that complimented it perfectly! We also chose the Falafel – Garbanzo with onion, bell peppers, dredged and fried served with tzatziki, a Greek yogurt and cucumber sauce that is amazing. My honey loved it so much he was writing it all down to share with his co-workers. The Seafood Dip with shrimp, crabmeat and cheese served warm out of the oven with warm pita chips was done perfectly! They also offer Ahi Tuna served on a bed of rice pilaf, Pita Mozzarella with tzatziki, add steak and onions, or Glory Bound Nachos served over pita chips with feta, pepperjack or mozzarella, onions, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, ground beef and tzatziki with a substitution of chicken or steak. The Blueberry Lemonade was a very nice treat as well.
