From singing in the streets of New Orleans to earning the coveted Golden Buzzer on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, it’s been one big year for Jourdan Blue.
This May the singer claimed the national spotlight in a big way, delivering a gripping rendition of The Script‘s 2008 hit “Breakeven” and owning the the song with a personal richness that immediately captured the attention of viewers, the audience and judges alike. With Jourdan’s girlfriend and newborn son nearby and his grandpa videoing in from sidestage, judge Howie Mandel smashed the button and solidified Jourdan’s place as an instant star of the show in dramatic fashion.
Some will remember Jourdan’s appearances here last summer with Coast Observer’s 25th Anniversary parties, or may be among his now over 720 thousand TikTok followers. Perhaps you’ve encountered him hyping up a crowd around his beloved New Orleans, a city that has been and remains close to him through everything.
