There is a new hotspot in downtown Biloxi surely to cool you off and give you all the scoop. The Scoop Biloxi is a locally, family owned vibrant ice cream shop in the Vieux Marche that is guaranteed to help you beat the Biloxi heat.

Fully family built and constructed by Shaun Parker Construction from the ground up and designed by Jessica Hart Parker, this new must see hot spot has become a staple for Biloxi locals in their short time here. The decor is bright and eye-catching, making any passer by sure to stop in and see what they have to offer.
And what do they have to offer exactly? 32 plus handcrafted ice cream flavors straight from Cammie’s Dutch Creamery out of Mobile, Alabama; meaning quality is top notch. Their flavors array from your classic chocolate and vanilla to cookie monster, lavender vanilla, Biscoff ice cream, cherry vanilla, pina colada, and the list goes on. The flavors do not stop there. They also offer no sugar added options and sorbets ranging from strawberry to even a key lime pie and a watermelon.
Jessica and Shaun opened this little shop for no other gain than to help add some life back into the downtown Biloxi area. Walking distance from the ball park and casinos, Jessica’s family thought a mom and pop ice cream shop was just what this downtown block needed and they were not wrong. They opened the doors and immediately got into working with their community by doing a special collaboration with the amazing Brewpaddle Cafe located inside The Bella Downtown hotel to offering job opportunities to high school students giving these kiddos a fun and positive first job experience. Jess mentioned that her first job was at an ice cream shop and she wanted to offer that opportunity to other teens in the community.
With the hospital located directly behind them, they wanted to cater and show appreciation to our nurses, 1st responders, police and military by offering them the “Hero” discount. While I was visiting the constant flow of nurses coming by for a quick treat shows that they really dialed in to what their neighbors were looking for.
I personally had to give the Brewpaddle collab a try and it was a craveable delight. The Brewpaddle’s fresh baked croissant topped with your favorite ice cream flavor and topping is the creative BrewScoop treat available on Fridays only and I highly suggest you grab one next time you are in the area on a Friday!! The creamy ice cream and freshness of the croissant paired together is something I didn’t know I needed in my life.
During the summer, The Scoop Biloxi is open 7 days a week and offers a fun, refreshing summer special called the Biloxi Bomb Pop. This treat is Fourth of July in a cup and gives you that nostalgic Rocket Pop feel. Once school time kicks off in the Fall, The Scoop Biloxi’s hours may adjust a bit to be more fitting for family schedules, but the community support does not stop. During the school year, The Scoop Biloxi offers a Teacher Appreciation discount for all our hardworking teachers on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!
So make this place a stop on your downtown Bioxi’s must have list and if you arrive, and all 32 flavors are screaming “TRY ME”, they offer a Flavor Flight where you can basically create your very own ice cream charcuterie board and literally try all the flavors you want. You do not have to pick just one!!!
With the downtown Biloxi area rebuilding and coming back to life, it’s nice to see a spot like this. Family owned, created and operated, helping the youth of our Gulf Coast and giving you a cool spot to relax and enjoy a hot Biloxi summer day with your friends and family. The Scoop Biloxi is the place to be this summer!!! My only request is don’t eat up all the BrewScoops on Fridays, leave at least one for me!!! This is V, signing out!
