Year End Live Music Roundup

Whether you’re a coast local, a guest, or just home for the holidays, the last days of December are always a magical time to get out in the festive night lights and take in some live music and cool air at the coast’s hottest spots. Here are just a few of the things happening around the area to help you plan your festivities.

New Year’s Eve at Hard Rock – Enjoy a two-tier party and countdown celebration at both Hard Rock Live and Road House 777 with Sugar Shaker, DJ Doc Roc and DJ San D. With thousands of events under their belts and an emphasis on delivering the highest level party band experience, New Orleans-based Sugar Shaker will be rocking the main stage with a multi-genre mix of mega hits to keep people dancing and moving all night. Upstairs DJ/VJ Doc Roc is back at Hard Rock and will be in the mix all night along with DJ San D. Your entry fee gets you into both venues.

Beau Rivage is keeping things in the holiday spirit throughout December with multiple showings of Elf: The Musical and The Nutcracker, as well as Kenny G‘s The Miracles Holiday and Hits tour. Covey Award winning cover/pop act Triggerproof, who among other acts are continuing their long running residency in Eight75, will be closing out the year in the swanky lounge. Catch them on stage from the 29th through the 31st, expertly delivering their finely curated mix of rock, pop and more cover tunes for all who venture through the Beau’s entryway. Eight75 is a fine, stylish establishment that oozes New Year’s Eve charm, but space can be limited, so don’t sleep on getting in there.

Legendary 80’s themed party band The Molly Ringwalds are set to be on stage in the Beau Rivage Theatre for New Year’s Eve, delivering all the iconic hits and visuals that have come to define the decade as well as the band.

If some more blues- based action is your thing, The Shed BBQ and Blues Joint has something for you with Michael Vincent and Choo Choo Charlie on Saturday the 28th. The duo puts on a show mixing classic country, delta blues and rock n’ roll with an acoustic touch.

Ground Zero Blues Club will be ringing in 2025 with a NYE party featuring Kat Riggins & Her Blues Revival with support from The Shaelyn Band. A powerful full-band experience fronted by a dynamic voice, it’s said Kat Riggins’ revival encompasses raw emotion and aims to introduce the audience to the sincerity of blues music. The Shaelyn Band hails from Florida and blends classic soul, blues, funk and rock into their sound. They’re making a return appearance to Biloxi.

Witness is on stage at The Silver Slipper on the 27th and 28th in The Stage Bar, and you’ll likely see many more quality musical acts set to appear at our coast’s casinos as we get through the month.

Our popular downtown areas and most active performance venues like The Juke Joint, The Sky Bar, and so many more post dates on socials, as do our wide array of original bands, cover/party bands, solo/duo performers, hip hop artists, DJs and more. You can also catch a ton of shows right here on our Coast Observer live music listings page.

Thanks for enjoying South Mississippi’s rich music scene throughout 2024, and we hope you do the same in ’25.

Cheers!
