We met with head chef, Milton Joachim, got a rounded idea and began with the Oyster Sampler – Garlic Parmesan, Rockefeller, Sweet and Spicy, Seafood Supreme, and Bacon Blue. I loved all of them, especially the bacon blue, mainly because that was new to me, ALL fantastic!!!
Sam served us the Captains Catch – a whole lobster, Dungeness crab cluster, boiled royal red shrimp, corn and potatoes with drawn butter. An extravagant dinner, more than two can eat, perfectly seasoned, bravo, superb! This meal is affordable perfection of the top three seafood items indeed!
Utter perfection all along the way, my very favorite was the Boatload – a whole pineapple stuffed with a wild rice veggie blend topped with jumbo sautéed shrimp and your choice of Mahi, chicken, or steak. As stuffed as I was, two hours later I killed the mahi and amazing rice!
The Captain’s Special – A hand cut 12 oz Ribeye, Fresh sautéed or fried gulf shrimp, homemade twice baked potato and their house crab meat salad with your choice of their homemade salad dressings is a winner! There are many steak, chicken and burger options for those who don’t do seafood (WHAT?). Daily lunch specials including pork chop Thursday, and daily chef specials always. I saw a shaved ribeye poboy come out that made me go hmm.
