If Ocean Springs had a secret movie set tucked between its boutiques and bars, it would look a lot like The Red Apple Lounge a cozy, cinematic hideaway created by business partners Kenny Williams and Andre Cassagne. Andre, who also bartends most nights, says he “couldn’t ask for a better business partner or brother,” and the whole lounge feels built on that kind of easy chemistry.

When we arrived for the interview, Kenny made an entrance that perfectly captured his vibe pulling up on his motorcycle, leather jacket, a wide grin greeting everyone inside. It was clear from the start that Red Apple Lounge reflects the same bold, lively energy Kenny brings to everything he touches.
Andre designed the layout himself to feel like a living room, the kind of space where you can actually hear the person next to you whether it is chatting, catching a football game, or just soaking in the vibe. Kenny and his wife handled the décor, layering in rich, cinematic touches that make the lounge feel like a Tarantino-inspired set with a Gulf Coast twist.
Hidden surprises are everywhere: tiny apples tucked in corners, a photo of Jackie Brown, even a Kill Bill sword casually hanging as if it belongs there. Regulars bring in little trinkets, turning the lounge into a playful, ever-evolving treasure hunt.
The cocktail menu is where the theme really shines. Signature drinks like the Honey Bunny, Jack Rabbit Slim, Brother’s Keeper, and Once Upon a Time in Ocean Springs nod to iconic films while celebrating local flavor. Andre says picking a favorite is like choosing between his kids, but he loves making the Honey Bunny, topped with burnt cinnamon that fills the room with a warm, aromatic scent, and the Brother’s Keeper, named after one of his favorite movies. (Fun fact: Tarantino didn’t direct it, but he wrote it and sold the rights early in his career to fund Reservoir Dogs.)
Even with the bold theme, the Red Apple Lounge keeps things easygoing. They focus on drinks, but guests are welcome to bring takeout from nearby restaurants, menus from Mosaic and Evergreen sit behind the bar for convenience. Most nights, the lounge draws locals, though curious tourists occasionally wander in and instantly feel at home.
When it comes to ordering, Andre says the most popular drinks tend to be the Jack Rabbit Slim and the Honey Bunny, two cocktails that perfectly capture the playful, stylish, and unmistakably Ocean Springs vibe.

Even with its cinematic flair, the Red Apple Lounge is all about making people feel at home. Andre says they love seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends alike, and the space is built for conversation, laughter, and good times. Whether it’s a casual night out with locals or a tourist stopping in for the first time, the lounge encourages everyone to relax, explore the hidden details, and enjoy the drinks and maybe even discover a little piece of Ocean Springs magic along the way.
