In addition to its legendary blues lineup, Ground Zero Blues Club is reinforcing its commitment to the local workforce with renewed focus on industry and service nights. Service industry workers as well as hospitality and medical workers can look forward to specially curated evenings designed to celebrate their hard work and dedication. Plus, with Saturdays comes Ladies Night—an opportunity for women to enjoy an unforgettable night out with great music, drinks, and a welcoming vibe.

A major highlight of the season is the highly anticipated Third Coast Music Awards, taking place on April 7th. Hosted by TFM Entertainment, this inaugural event will shine a spotlight on the best in local music, hospitality, and events. With a grand, first-of-its-kind award ceremony, attendees can expect an evening of celebration and recognition unlike anything the venue has seen before.
“It’s going to bring the vibe of the Coveys and be a large party for the entertainers.” Says Givens. “It’ll be a time for everyone in the hospitality to get together and let loose on the same night and we’re kind of doing the same thing for the music industry on the coast as well.”

Of course, no season at Ground Zero Blues Club would be complete without an electrifying lineup of live performances. Mark your calendars for these upcoming acts and others:
- Ana Popovic – April 3rd
- Jason Ricci & The Bad Kind – April 4th
- Brandon Santini – April 5th
- Jared Daws and The Dusk Singers – April 11th
- Walter Trout – April 19th
- Shemekia Copeland – April 25th
“The level of entertainment we’re bringing to the cost is second to none.” Says Dejuan Hobbs, Entertainment Director. “We’re bringing Grammy nominated and Grammy award winning musicians. We’re definitely bringing Blues music awards winners on a regular basis. As far as the Blues goes, we’re a major destination that artists definitely want to play. As far as other genres we’re also getting some of those that are big names as well.”
With these wonderful updates and events on the horizon, there’s never been a better time to experience the allure of Ground Zero Blues Club. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, this season promises something special for everyone who loves great music and an unforgettable atmosphere steeped in the traditions of Southern Blues.
