Along the Biloxi shoreline, where the salt air mingles with the sound of the waves, The Reef immediately catches your eye. Its exterior bursts with colorful murals of sea life and coastal creatures, giving a playful and artistic welcome that sets the tone for everything inside. From the moment guests arrive, they are greeted with warm hospitality, waterfront views, and a vibrant, unmistakably Gulf Coast atmosphere.
Step inside, and the space balances relaxed comfort with lively energy. Families gather around tables, friends sip cocktails overlooking the water, and visitors quickly realize they have found more than just a restaurant. Step outside, and the experience expands further. Open-air seating and a small playground make it perfect for casual lunches or afternoons by the Gulf. After a meal, guests can wander over to the nearby beach to soak in the sand, making it a full coastal outing
At the heart of The Reef is its commitment to fresh, regional ingredients. Their oysters come from Captains Choice Oysters, sourced from the Melerine family’s reefs in St. Bernard and Hopedale, Louisiana. Their shrimp are domestic, packaged locally from Gollott’s in Biloxi, and their catfish is farm-raised and domestic, ensuring freshness and quality in every bite. It is this dedication to sourcing that allows The Reef to serve dishes that are both authentic and flavorful.
One of the most talked-about features is The Reef’s $10 lunch menu. Available Monday through Friday from eleven in the morning to three in the afternoon and dine-in only, it offers ten different options for just ten dollars each. Guests can enjoy classics like red beans and sausage with cornbread, panko fried chicken sandwiches, fried catfish plates, fried or grilled shrimp plates, blackened flounder plates, and more. The menu provides locals a fast, satisfying lunch without breaking the bank, and gives tourists an easy way to sample Gulf Coast flavors with generous portions and quality ingredients.
We tried a little bit of everything, and it was hard to pick favorites because everything was so good. The Lemoncello cake was a showstopper, so bright and citrusy that we were already talking about ordering an entire cake to take home. The New Orleans-style oysters were big, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Mac Daddy Roni, a personal favorite, did not disappoint.. From the $10 lunch menu, we sampled the crab cake BLT, which you can get fried or grilled, and it was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. The panko fried chicken sandwich was crunchy and juicy, bringing major McChick’n vibes in the best way. The fried catfish plate was golden, flaky, and seasoned perfectly, while the tuna tacos offered a lighter, fresh option. For sharing or going big, the firecracker shrimp nachos were huge, loaded, and absolutely crave-worthy, and the fun part is you can get the firecracker shrimp or sauce on almost anything and customize it to your taste. To wash it all down, the Bushwacker cocktail was smooth, rich, and the perfect companion to our feast. Every bite reflects The Reef’s commitment to fresh, flavorful ingredients and that unmistakable Gulf Coast vibe that makes you want to linger, savor, and plan your next visit before you even leave.
The Reef also knows how to keep the fun going beyond lunch and dinner. The Sky Bar on the third floor comes alive every Monday with free pool and happy hour all day. On Friday’s 7-11pm and Saturday 8-midnight, the space turns into a lively karaoke hotspot. Guests can sip cocktails like the popular Bushwacker while taking in panoramic Gulf views. Theme nights and rotating drink specials keep the evenings exciting, and it remains family-friendly during early hours.
For those who love a little souvenir shopping, The Reef’s gift shop offers coastal-themed finds and local treasures, perfect for remembering a day spent on the Gulf or taking a piece of Biloxi home.

Beyond the food, drinks, and shopping, The Reef creates a true sense of place. From the playful murals outside to the open-air seating, small playground, and nearby beach, every detail reflects a connection to the Gulf.
From waterfront lunches to lively evenings at the Sky Bar, The Reef is more than a restaurant it is a destination. Whether visitors come for the ten-dollar lunch, fresh seafood, breathtaking views, shopping in the gift shop, or an afternoon spent on the beach after a meal, one thing is certain. The Reef captures the spirit of the Gulf Coast in every sense, offering an experience that keeps locals coming back and tourists discovering the best of Biloxi’s coastal charm.
