The festival is packed with excitement, featuring performances by a stellar lineup of musicians from across the Gulf Coast and beyond. Notable acts include the incredible hip hop stylings of Tha Real TNT, the electrifying metalcore of NVSN, the energetic eclecticism of Touch Biloxi, the masterful guitar riffs of Dakota “Shreddly” Amacker, and the powerful stage presence of Burnin Redd. All of these amazing artists and so many more are bringing their unique talent to the stage for a weekend of unforgettable live music.
“As always, we will have a weekend packed with as many musicians as we can fit!” Says sitting Frets for Pets board President Alex Bosarge. “We have several new and returning local bands this year. It’s going to be an awesome melting pot of genres, with everything from rap, country, indie, metal, folk- there is going to be something for everyone. We are excited to welcome bands from several surrounding states this year as well.”
But that’s not all—Frets for Pets will also feature a mesmerizing fire dance performance by the talented Kitsune Fire Dance troupe. This dazzling display of skill and artistry will light up the night and add a captivating element to the event. Whether you’re there for the music or the spectacle, there’s something for all audiences! There will also be a raffle, including incredible prize donations from local businesses. One lucky raffle ticket buyer will walk away with a guitar signed by Grand Funk Railroad, graciously donated by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi.
“The Grand Funk Railroad guitar was a real gem, acquired by our co-founder Mark Simmons.” Says James Dorque, board member. “I think that’s going to be a big deal for a lot of people. We have some amazing raffle items donated by our wonderful local businesses and restaurants, but we expect that guitar to be the high ticket item of the year. Thank God for Mark Simmons.”

“I’m really grateful to be able to be a part of this charity. I get to work with my friends, and be a part of something that positively impacts both people and pets alike. It’s a blessing.” Says Bosarge. “We are a non-profit charity, so all the money we make from Frets goes directly to Jackson County Animal Shelter, Humane Society of South Mississippi, and Tired Dog Rescue. We are helping shelters and rescues afford supplies, medicine, spays and neuterings, and enrichment. Necessary things for the hundreds upon hundreds of pets that are currently waiting for their forever homes. We also accept any donations of supplies that we can send directly to the shelters.”
