As 2026 starts to wind down, we find ourselves with a different sort of experience here on the coast. For just a few months those adventures in the summer sun give way to longer nights, holiday parties and cool walks downtown… and the Gulf Coast’s live music scene is here for all of it.
We’re about half way through from the most recent Covey Awards, where our music category was again filled with a genre-spanning variety of the coast’s favorite acts that you can find while you’re out and about. Here’s a look at what they are up to as we roll into the fall.

Ty Taylor and The Kinfolk
(Country) Smooth singing guitar picker Ty Taylor has been working the coast’s scene for years as a solo artist and collaborator. With the Kinfolk, everything gets kicked up a notch into a full band sound that has delighted the ears of country music fans enough to make them a go-to act for the genre. Most recently they were featured at the Jackson County Blue Ribbon Fair. Ty has been performing multiple shows a week through September and October in multiple cities in the area, at Cruisin’ the Coast, bars and casinos, special events, and all night performances with the full band as well as solo/duo appearances such as his longtime collab with Gram Rea.

The All Nighters
(Coast Style) This group of seasoned players is known for their high energy live shows. Their whole goal is to get the party started at whatever venue they go to, and they have a wide mix of cover songs that lean into the rock/alt genres and are scientifically chosen to get people up out of their seats, bouncing around and singing along loudly, be that well or not. Whether it’s breaking stuff with Limp Bizkit or grooving with some Tom Petty, they often break out their jams in hot spots like Glory Bound, Dan B’s, casino venues and in our neighboring towns and states.

Triggerproof
(Cover/ Pop) Triggerproof has had a fantastic run over the years with their main gig as house performers at Beau Rivage as well as at other MGM properties and special events. Known for their high end talent, seemingly endless song catalog and classy delivery, they can most often be found in the newly renovated Eight75 lounge providing an ever-evolving and tastefully scaled soundtrack for floor players and lounge patrons alike. If you’ve ever wandered through the main hall at the Beau, there’s a good chance you’ve already enjoyed a tune or two from them, or will soon. Triggerproof is currently booked at Eight75 every Wednesday through Saturday in November.

Titus Gillard Blues Power Band
(Jazz/Blues/Funk) Titus Gillard has graced the stage multiple times at the Coveys as both a winner and performer, and he continues to bring the big Blues Power sound to area stages. He’s “a skilled blues guitarist and singer with a rich, soulful voice and all the quick fingered chops to deliver songs from some of the greatest names in the genre,” as a very talented writer once said, and has recently been shredding it up at spots like The Juke Joint and Smokin’ the Sip. While show promotions are light at the moment, be sure to pop around online and sample some videos and upcoming dates as they are announced by searching “Titus Gillard Blues Power Band” and “TG Blues.”

Brennan Roybal
(Solo/Duo) Widely known as a keyboardist and singer, Brennan is a multi-instrumentalist and multi-project artist with years in the scene. He has a bag full of original music and cover tunes, and the type of show you get often depends on the event and location. Whatever that is, it’s guaranteed to be festive. You can often find him popping up solo, collabing with other artists such as Billy Miller and Buddy Leach, and generally getting involved with a whole variety of events, especially around Ocean Springs.

(Rock/ Alt) Saint Social are riding high at the end of 2026 with the release of their latest record, Tunes for the Gaslight Blues: Side A. The indie rock trio marked the release on October 17th with a ticketed show at the Mary C. O’Keefe center in Ocean Springs, performing for a red-clad crowd of dedicated fans. Live shows are relatively rare for Saint Social currently, and the band puts a lot of time and care into making each performance a memorable, quality production. You can catch them occasionally at special events and festivals around the coast, or promoting their own headlining events such as their album releases. Follow their (Saint) socials or stream the new album now on major platforms.

He’s recently making the rounds at spots like Ground Zero, Buoy’s Bar, Daiquiry Factory Lounge and Olde Towne Tavern in Slidell.
