27th Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic: A Week-Long Celebration of Sport Fishing
The Mississippi Gulf Coast is gearing up for one of its most exciting annual events – the 27th Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic. Taking place from June 5-11, the tournament will be held behind the Golden Nuggets Casino and promises to be a week-long celebration of sport fishing.
Teams from all over the country will arrive in their sport fishing yachts on Monday, June 5th, and participate in various events throughout the week. The tournament really kicks off with the boat parade on Thursday at 11 am, where participants will parade in front of Casino Row.
Scales are open from 3-8 pm on Friday and from 3-6 pm on Saturday. The event holds the record for the largest blue marlin with a weight of 1056 pounds. Nick Pratt and his Just In Time team are looking to four-peat and make history as the first team to win the tournament four times in a row.
