BETMGM has some really tasty bar food with an in-house commissary where all foods are prepared from scratch. Launching off the 2023 football season with some new additions to the already exciting menu, we were seated with the two latest, and greatest additions. The Triple Decker is a shareable appetizer featuring three of your favorites. Spinach Artichoke Dip served with light and airy tortilla chips, Boneless Chicken Wings served with a spicy BBQ sauce, and Southwest Eggrolls served with a Guacamole aioli, all three were special, made fresh and very enjoyable! The next addition, and the one I urge you to try is the Devil Dogs – two alligator sausage brauts, covered with homemade chili, cheese, fried onion strips, and fried jalapeno slices, on a light bun, served with French fries.
When I got home that night someone on Facebook was looking for the best hot dog around, preferably with a little spice, and, there you have it! Of course I shared this little tidbit with them! We also had the best seller, the Loaded Nachos – beef or chicken, queso, refried beans, jalapenos, pico de gallo, with sour cream and guacamole. More than enough for two people, with delicious toppings over those melt-in-your-mouth tortillas, yum! Other appetizers from the Starting Lineup include French fries or tater tots with a loaded version, Fried Mushrooms, Fried Pickles, both with a chipotle ranch dipping sauce, the Trifecta – salsa, guacamole, and queso with those awesome tortilla chips, Queso, or Hummus with warm pita bread. I have had all of these starters, and, they are all wonderful tailgate apps!
We had a dozen naked Chicken Wings with the sauces on the side – Buffalo Hot, the Jamaican Jerk, and the Hot Honey, these were all good, and they have many ways to combo the dry rub and sauces for the adventurous ones who love a dare on extreme heat, lol! We then had a BETMGM Burger – traditional with American cheese, dressed, on a Brioche bun. There are three other options on the burger; BBQ Bacon Beast – smoked bacon, fried onion strips, cheddar cheese, and sweet BBQ sauce, Black and Bleu – sautéed mushrooms, bleu cheese, with lettuce, tomato and onion, and, the Juicy Lucy – cheese-stuffed patty, with sautéed onions, dressed. Side options are Zapp’s chips, French fries, or tater tots. The patties are all hand formed, seasoned, and juicy while still being lean. The Sandwich offerings are all tasty as well; a classic Reuben – corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing on Rye bread, the Biloxi Steak and Cheese – shaved sirloin steak, American cheese, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, and jalapenos on French bread, Fried Chicken with chipotle ranch, Blackened Grouper – dressed on a hoagie roll, Shrimp Poboy – fried shrimp, dressed, with spicy mayo on a hoagie roll, and a Chicken Quesadilla – marinated chicken, roasted onions, pico, cheddar-jack cheese, and sour cream. Every option is quite delectable, it’s up to you to choose your favorite!
