Part of this success is pumping up her team with incentives and positive praise. While others are struggling to keep staffed, yes, we hear this everywhere we go, she has loyal employees, because they are appreciated to keep her business thriving! We were greeted by every waitress we passed, and the employees gladly keep ALL customers happy. I so love this!
Our waitress Sam was as up-beat as they come, starting me with a signature Princess Peach – Deep Eddy’s Peach Vodka, Peach Schnapps, sweet & sour, and cranberry 11. Very tropical, along with a list of specialty umbrella type drinks, which I love, but, I have to stick with non-sweet drinks, so, from here on out it was Woodford Reserve on the rocks, my favorite. Whisky goes with everything, right?! With that being said, let’s talk about the Bloody Marys! The Captain’s Cure – with Dungeness Crab, three fried shrimp, sausage links, and jumbo jalapenos. The Shrimp Blast – one dozen shrimp, three fried, three sautéed, three boiled, and three royal reds; the Shipwreck – two Snow Crab clusters, on pound of shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes, and an entire oyster combo; the Lobster Trap – with a one pound lobster, or add a lobster tail to any bloody mary; and, the Crab Trap – a softshell crab and two boiled shrimp. Hmmmm, had one of them, love, loved it, would definitely do it again!
