Of course there is a generous list of tantalizing steamed seafood as well! Options include succulent Alaskan King Crab Legs or Alaskan Snow Crab Legs, deep water Royal Reds, or Gulf Shrimp by the pound. This ain’t your buffet crab legs, lol, seasoned and savory!
Sides offered are whipped potatoes, greens with pork liquor and corn bread, corn casserole with cream and Colby cheese, broccoli with Colby jack fondue, green beans with toasted garlic, shallots, and pepper puree, fried okra with creole ranch, 3 fried shrimp with cocktail sauce, and our choice, sweet potato soufflé with brown sugared pecans and a hot sugar glaze, yum.
By the time we ordered our amazing desserts and dessert cocktails, the sun had set and the intimacy of the dining room was breathtaking. Mary had the Strawberry Shortcake Martini with cotton candy bubbles, Cheli had the Crème Brulee Martini, and I had the Magnolia Sour made with frothy egg whites. We sampled three sinful concoctions, beginning with the Hummingbird Cheesecake Brulee. A layer of humming bird cake for the base topped with three inches of cheesecake, with a torched sugar topping and a honeycomb white chocolate wafer. Everything about this was amazing. Then we had the White Chocolate Bread Pudding with house made raspberry ice cream and chocolate straws and a sugar glaze. And, finally the Banana Upside Down Cake with Pecan Florentine, Bananas Foster Sauce and Brown Sugar Ice Cream. All were exceptionally spectacular, in execution, creativity, presentation, and most importantly flavor infusions!
Beau Rivage Resort & Casino has most assuredly succeeded in bringing to the coast another amazingly gorgeous venue with amazingly spectacular cocktails, wines, and coastal fare with a flair! Intensely focused on meeting your needs, southern meets Cajun in our palates and in our hearts! You asked for fresh seafood with an exquisite atmosphere, they did it! Bon Appetit!
