Lunch-ish, also served all day offers several sandwiches, salads and soups. Sandwiches are served with fresh fruit or Zapp’s potato chips (crawtaters), spiced pecans, dressed greens soup of the day or a parfait are also available for a small up-charge. We had the Club Sammie – ham, turkey, bacon, pimento cheese, lettuce and tomato, mayo and mustard in three slices of white toast. This is a monster sandwich and is every bit as delicious as it sounds. Turkey Avocado with lettuce, tomato and honey mustard on multigrain bread; Chicken Salad with lettuce, tomato and mayo on multigrain bread; the BLTEA – a BLT with fried egg and avocado on multigrain bread; Ham Sandwich comes with ham and brie, lettuce, honey mustard, and onion jam served hot on multigrain bread; PBJ with seasonal jam and peanut butter on toasted multigrain bread, Pimento Cheese with grainy mustard and pickled onions on multigrain bread, and the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast – lemon avocado mash, lettuce, smoked salmon, pickled onions, capers, and everything seasoning on toasted multigrain bread are more delectable choices. Many sweets, cookies, cake slices and pastries are available fresh daily. We had a really chunky chocolate chip cookie and a lemon pound cake slice that were so divine! For take home and from the pantry the Greenhouse sells the Biscuit Mix, Seasonal Jam, Pimento Cheese and Chicken Salad to name just a few of their house made treats!
