Here on the ever busy South Mississippi Gulf Coast it’s easy to count the businesses that come and go, open and close, sometimes within the course of a single year. Ours is a fast paced, high turnover, set of industries, and some restaurants just don’t make it. However, when it comes to The Sky Bar at The Reef, manager Brooke Mason has found the secret to longevity after ten wonderful years in business. Simple though it might sound, it’s a mix of great food, excellent customer service, and a tight-knit dedicated staff.
“It’s kinda like how parents feel when they watch their kids grow up.” Says Mason, manager. “You see something from the beginning and then you just watch it progress and grow. It’s nice to have our regulars, and we do welcome our new customers who have never been here before. You can sit and talk with them about the history, and the coast, and how the coast has grown.”
