Everyone Loves our bagels & Burgers!
I am so thrilled to finally make it to Big O’s Lil Market Deli and Bagelry! Cheli and the Coast Observer staff loved going to Big O’s Sports Bar and smashing on the wonderful creations by Oren Zwerig, and are so excited about his big success at the Lil Market. Located immediately off of Government St. on Bellande Ave., this little gem is conveniently located for all the downtown Ocean Springs visitors to stop in for breakfast and lunch while enjoying their day! It is also very convenient to locals who know their way around the downtown shenanigans, lol. I’ve seen nothing but rave reviews from friends, on Ocean Springs Talk of the Town, and Coast Foodies. Oh yeah, Oren likes to express a story or two himself, always ending with a laugh and a smile, this dude seriously keeps me interested! The little deli pumps out dozens of freshly cooked daily bagels, as well as several sandwich, wrap, or bowl options, and, a few carry out options from the fridge of house made to-go family style meals.
The tiny market is just adorable with an outdoor seating area where people are happy to share a space to squat and meet new friends. I was really impressed with the kindness of those from near and far as they all enjoyed their selections. The staff was upbeat and friendly as well. Oren, we missed you on this day, but, Bree Vallor, Mandy Brannon, Daniel Chambers and Ashley Melendy were wonderfully helpful in hosting or adventure, and, I absolutely love to see a happy workforce! We are aware that someone has to be there at the crack of dawn to mix, boil, and bake the many bagel options, and the efforts are greatly appreciated!
