As Hangout Fest 2024 approaches, we want to take a minute to drop some tips and tricks to help prepare you for one of our favorite summer festivals.
Sunblock.
The beach is beautiful and fun, but that sun is BRUTAL so please be sure to protect your body. Unique to the Hangout is the shop right inside, and you can find official merch but also sunglasses, bathing suits, sun protection and so much more. Having this building is a real lifesaver, and with the attached restaurant, it makes it a great place to grab a drink and cool off in the shade in between sets.
Hydrate.
There are hydration stations all over the place. Please, please drink water. In the case of emergencies or over hearing, there is a hydration tent and a full EMT to help keep us all safe, but doing your part to make sure that you’re frequently drinking water in between all the awesome cocktails will make sure you can keep the party going all weekend!
Check out the Disco Bus! It is truly one of the coolest areas I’ve ever experienced at a festival. There is a DJ spinning tunes, food trucks and stalls, and sometimes a skating rink to really get yourself in the groove!
It’s an absolutely perfect spot to excellent selfies and group shots, perfectly encompassing the vibe of the festival.
There are art installations all over the beach and the sidewalk areas. Pause to take photos with them, but remember to be kind and courteous to others waiting, and also be careful to not touch.

Hammock Beach and the Great Lawn are places to relax and listen to the waves and music, a little removed back from the hustle of the stages but still close enough to enjoy the action.
Monster Beach Club is great for dancing and vibing with other Hangouters, and the water is right there so you can get a little bit of ocean waves up close!
Hangout also has added a brand new stage, the Shoreline, presented by Malibu! It will be right along the water, so you have an amazing backdrop to enjoy some of your favorite acts.With dozens of booths, merch, and food stalls, Hangout stands ready to completely spoil you with festival standards.
