The Garage at Cash Alley

Other sandwiches include the Diablo – pulled pork, slaw, RC Cola BBQ, and sweet fire pickles; Granny’s BLT – thick cut pork belly, sliced heirloom tomato, lettuce and garlic aioli; Pimento Cheese – dressed with heirloom tomato and lettuce.  I had to have the Patty Melt – grilled beef patty, grilled onions, with pepperjack cheese and comeback sauce.  All sandwiches are served on Texas Toast, and, this was a patty melt for the books for sure, so good!  We also did the Classic Sliders with two beef patties, pickles, onion, and/or cheddar or pepperjack on Hawaiian bun.  Other sliders are Buffalo Chicken – shredded chicken tossed in Pappy’s buffalo sauce, diced onions, dill pickle and ranch, or Pulled Pork – slow cooked pulled pork, RC Cola BBQ with sweet fire pickles.

With five Dawgs to choose from we had the Campfire Dawg – homemade chili, cheddar cheese, over a huge hot dog with garlic aioli. I can only eat dawgs with chili, and it was awesome, huge and filling.  The Comeback Dawg comes with pork belly, pepperjack, grilled onions and comeback sauce; the Bacon Jam Dawg – bacon jam, queso and green onions; the Garage Dawg – with garage relish, grilled onions and hot honey mustard or the Corn Dawg – hand dipped in homemade batter, deep fried with hot honey mustard.  All sandwiches, sliders and dawgs are served with your choice of fries, slaw, chips or chili.  Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced with excellent sides and the desserts are quite exquisite too!  We died over the Cheesecake on a stick – frozen Oreo cheesecake dipped in donut batter and fried, holy moly it was fantastic!!!

I can’t wait to go watch the Saints at the Garage at Cash Alley!  This is such a cool little place with a very chill vibe, until the Saints score!  See ya there!
