“It’s probably the best work I’ve ever done in a studio…” Eash said. “I think a lot of the tragedies that have happened in his life, and a lot of the hardships I’ve been going through in life, and sitting down and putting this all into music… we’ve got a lot of meat on the bones on these songs. It’s exciting. It’s exciting because I never imagined us doing it. That’s what’s cool about it.”
Eash and Leonard are taking their time writing together, letting the songs breathe, and dialing in the album’s sound at a pace that they feel allows them to give the project the care it deserves. Tentatively they are looking at a summer 2025 drop, complete with a release party to usher in this next chapter in style. In the meantime you can catch Eash performing live across the coast, doing up to multiple shows a week.
As he says to his fellow musicians… “Stay driven and stay hard at it.” Eugene Eash is here to stay.
