The margaritas are awesome as well, and we do love our Sangria-Margarita, or maybe a shot of Pepe’s homemade tequila with a Modello Especial, and the bar is fully stocked for whatever you wish for! The appetizers include all your favorite dips, guacamole, and nachos or taco salads anyway you can imagine. The grilled meat toppings or ground beef are all wonderfully seasoned with fresh ingredients and herbs, as well as the seafood, local and fresh caught and delivered from Guillotte’s Seafood just down the road. Pepe likes to surprise us with a shrimp bisque (award winning), a shrimp and rice dish, or stuffing shrimp and veggies in a chile relleno. Everything he serves here is authentic and so dang good!
Our latest crazes are fresh fried tacos! Cheli prefers fresh fried corn tortillas with ground beef and cheese dip topping. Melanie opts for the fresh fried flour tortilla with ground beef, and I prefer the fresh fried flour tortilla with shredded beef. Oh my, how they melt in your mouth with all the savory flavors and fresh lettuce and tomato. All of their amazingly seasoned proteins: ground beef, fajita steak, chicken or shrimp, shredded chicken or shredded beef (delicious roast), are all available to be served in a taco, a burrito, an enchilada, on nachos, over a salad, over rice, topped with queso or you can order the Toluca Favorita – a variety of marinated meats, including chorizo served with pinto beans, Spanish rice and warm tortillas. Chuletas Asada – grilled pork chops with grilled onions and grilled jalapenos served with Spanish rice, refried pinto beans, guacamole salad and your choice of warm corn or flour tortillas and Carne Asada same as above with tender grilled steak. Bosque Fajitas are a marinated and grilled choice of protein with grilled veggies and warm tortillas. All of it, everything, just spectacular!!!
They offer many specialties and combos such as Shrimp Teriaki – yes! Served with Spanish rice. Mississippi Favorita – sauteed crawfish in a burrito and an enchilada with a shrimp quesadilla, topped with queso. Camaron al Mojo de Ajo – grilled shrimp with garlic and crushed red peppers and a splash of tequila served with rice and salad, a Bosque favorite. My daily special favorite is the Old Mexico – two fajita burritos, grilled steak or chicken, or one of each topped with queso, served with rice and beans, add the grilled veggies for sure, then sass it and add mushrooms! I also go to the Bosque Grilled Chicken – tender strips of grilled chicken breast, grilled onions, spinach and jalapenos, I add mushrooms, topped with cheese sauce and a side of Spanish rice.
