“I’ve always drawn, it’s always gone hand in hand with making music… I’ve always had music on when I paint… or listen back to something I’ve written and work on something,” he explained. A fan of what could be loosely called abstract expressionism, Adam often shares his striking and intricate designs on his social media.
“I love artists that do a lot with just one or a few lines and tell a story, surrealist stuff.”
He’s happy to be an artist with a full plate, or as he jokes, “it’s a little bit of a buffet.”
In addition to his solo shows, Adam Cook can currently be found appearing with:
Hippy Rooster (drum and bass duo)
Midnight Shadows (alternative/ rock/ blues band)
The Titus Gillard Blues Power Band (delta, rock, traditional blues band)
The Squonk (psych rock, full band)
Adam’s recent appearances included The Julep Room and Ground Zero Blues Club. Upcoming dates include Cafe 871, Boho Biloxi Social House, Kelly’s Sports Pub and more. Follow Adam Cook’s socials for music clips, art, news and upcoming show dates.
