Adam Cook

A solo musician, band member and visual artist all at once, Adam Cook has become a rising name in the area’s music scene by going all in.

Adam is a blues guitarist and singer/songwriter at the core. His solo shows often take on a chill, stripped down vibe, featuring little more than Adam’s smooth singing, tasty electric guitar licks and rhythms, with just a bit of accompaniment from his live looper setup. He also happens to be a skilled bassist and energetic live performer when teamed up with bandmates, which is something he loves to do as often as he can. As such, Adam has been spotted playing all sorts of music genres, and gone live on some of the biggest stages and in some of most intimate music spots in our area.

“It’s crazy how much the scene around here is booming,” he said. “It’s beautiful.”
Adam is a lifelong musician who first started playing in bands and jamming with friends regularly in his teen years. He marks his first official live show as having taken place in the library at Biloxi High School. He left the coast in his twenties and set out to explore the art and music scenes in Texas and Georgia for some time before eventually catching a coast-bound Greyhound bus back from Atlanta.

As great musical tales will often tell, the open road is many a songwriter’s muse. Adam used this time to put some words down before arriving in his next chapter.
