Adam Cook

“I didn’t know they’d be songs,” he said. “I just needed to get these thoughts and feelings out… What I’m going through, what I’ve been through… stuff that’s real to me.”

Adam is currently putting some of these songs together to record an EP in the style of his solo performances: simple, soulful and atmospheric. Beyond that, bringing in some friends to lend a full band sound to his material is something that’s always on the table.
When he’s not shaking the air with his several musical acts, Adam’s other passion is putting color on canvas.

Adam picked up a new guitar and dove right into the coast’s scene, going out to shows, meeting jam partners and picking up gigs with area bands, and even found himself on the Coliseum Crawfish Festival’s main stage with the Katie Jones band. He developed musical bonds and found regular collaborators he clicks with, such as drummer Nicole Wescovich and guitarist Dustin Ross. Through all of this, he added some new genres and songs to his skillset, and his own music began to shape up into something more solid. He currently has about fifteen original songs ready to go, as well as an array of cover tunes. Songs like “Honey Bee” and “In Your Light” showcase Adam’s often fun and uplifting style.
“I do love singing about the feeling of love, there’s nothing like it,” he said. “That energy, that connection…”
