“We’re unofficially a Saints bar.” Says Mason with a smile. “So a lot of Saints fans meet up here. We do surround sound for the Saints games and any other big gaame people, people can request to have the surrounding sound going. But pretty much for college football, NFL, drink specials, food specials all day.”
Monday night football is happy hour all night, with deals on beer buckets, and pitchers. But amazing deals aren’t the only thing that keep people coming back to the Sky Bar. It’s the excellence of the staff that really makes the experience. Many members of the staff have been in service for nearly the entirety of The Sky Bar’s run. In an industry with such high turnover rate, this is almost unheard of.
“We are blessed to have the people that work here.” Says Mason. “We have quite a few people that are still day one. So, that makes a big difference that I feel like we’re solid. We have really just kind of planted something here and we have something that works, and I love that.”
